Christmas Around the World

I found this on Teachers Pay Teachers. This is the cutest ever! "Christmas Around the World Scrapbook" by Sarah Cooley http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Christmas-Around-the-World-Scrapbook

Each year I teach my students about different traditions at Christmastime. I usually read a book about the traditions in each country then we will have some type of art, cooking, or fun activity that goes along with it. Well I found this booklet and am so excited. It includes lessons as well as the cutest keepsake that the kids can put in their time capsules for wonderful memories!

One year our 5 first grade classes decided we would exchange classes for Unit time each day for a week. Each teacher decorated her room and Christmas tree based on the traditions of the country she was teaching. As the students traveled to a different class they took their passports with them and they were stamped as they entered the class. The teacher would teach a lesson and have some fun activity for the students. The students really enjoyed this activity!
